It Begins
It Begins!
The torch has passed. We want to thank Jeff for his stewardship of this blog. Many wonderful stories have happened because of it.
But life moves on and now Thom and I will try to be as faithful.
We have decided the first change is that we would like to strive for a story every week. The stories would be due the Wednesday after the pictures are posted.
WE think people tend to write better with a tighter deadline but as Thom says that's our opinion.
The next change.
We want this to be your blog and so we invite you to submit four to six pictures that could form the basis for a story.
To show we are sincere in this desire our first six pictures are from Melli. We hope you would use at least four of them
And here they are. Stories due July 1st

Nice going guys, you've successfully taken the mantle. It's weird; feels like I've raised a child and let him out into the big world to fly on his own. Now I know that's a bit over dramatic, but you get the idea.
I know the site is in good hands!
Change is always hard, but Jeff, I think that you picked the right guys for the job! And Cheers to you Dr. John & Thom! You've hit the ground running. :)
Best of luck with the challenge. The new pics are interesting. I'll try to post as often as possible, but with working full time I don't think I'll be able to make it every week.

I'm not sure I can manage a story every week but I'll give it a go. :)
Thanks you two! I've been wanting to join in for the longest time, but as Jeff said recently, life just kept getting away--ok, if you're making a fresh start I have to admit that I can make one too, this time with no excuses. I'll try it this very week...and somehow come up with a story about a VERY VERY VERY BIG BABY. (holy cow, that last photo?)
And, how do we submit photographs for you--email, or sending links? I've got some that might be good.
I wish you every success with the new venture. However I cannot write under pressure and weekly is too often for me.
